Would you like to get to know life in Germany and improve your German? Can you imagine looking after people here and doing social work? Then join the International Voluntary Social Service! You will work with us, the ZieglerschenBut our partners, thatDiakonische Werk  or the Via e. V., organize everything for you.

Everything you need to know about the voluntary social year:

  • You are between 18 and 26 years old.
  • You must have basic knowledge of German (level A2 or B1)
  • You get 450 euros per month.
  • You live for free in a shared apartment with other volunteers from all over the world.
  • The voluntary social year lasts 12 months.
  • You will receive a free German course.
  • We will help you deal with the German authorities.
